and antique copper, blades from canvas and palm leaves to natural wood, glass from French scavo to tiffany. Hampton Bay offers two technical niches in the market. They were the 1st to supply the Fast Connect installation system, where assembling and installing the fan needs few screws and can be done in seconds.

They were also first to market the Gossamer Wind high potency blade design, a chiseled blade set of moulded plastic engineered to move more air more effectively. Hampton Bay also offers competitive features like thermostatic remotes and uplights. Hampton Bay fans offer showroom styles and features at Home Center costs. This has made Hampton Bay one of the hottest types of ceiling fans. Issues with your Hampton Bay fan firstly, Hampton Bay ceiling fans have a whole life guaranty. Since they're the house kind of Home Depot, and sold only in Home Depot stores and web sites, Home Depot honors the Hampton Bay guaranty. So if your fan breaks or fails, often times the simplest solution is to return the fan to Home Depot for a full replacement under guaranty. If you like to patch up the fan instead of exchange it, parts are available.

Install Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans Installing a new Hampton Bay ceiling fan is straightforward with its Quick-Connect Assembly System. Say so long to the boring process of assembling the ceiling fan blades with brackets and screws. On Hampton Bay ceiling fans, the fan blades are straightforward to assemble ; they slide and lock into place. The motor housing comes preassembled also. Hampton Bay ceiling fans are sold solely by The Home Depot and come in a big array of styles and sizes. Be certain to read the maker's instructions comprehensively.

One ) Remove your Hampton Bay ceiling fan and all its parts from the box and find the maker's instructions.

Two ) switch off the power to the room where the new ceiling fan is to be installed.

Three ) take away the existing light fitting or ceiling fan.
Before handling any wires, ensure you use your electric circuit tester to check them to make sure that no electric current is present.

Four ) if you do not have a tool pouch, put the tools you want in your pockets for simple access while working on the ladder.

Five ) Install the Quick-Connect mounting bracket in the electric box in your ceiling. It'll snap in effect informing you that it's mounted in the right way.

Six ) Hang your ceiling fan on the Fast Connect fan bracket and wire the ceiling fan according to the maker's instructions. The 3 wires coming from your ceiling should match the 3 wires coming from your ceiling fan : black ( positive or hot ), white ( neutral or negative ) and green ( ground wire ).

Seven ) Mount the ceiling fan according to the maker's instructions and install the ornamental base of the fan, which covers the wiring and the electric box in your ceiling.

Eight ) Attach the fan blades using the Quick-Connect system. The blades will simply slide into the fan-blade bracket and lock into place.

Nine ) Install the light kit on your ceiling fan ( if applicable ) according to the maker's specs.

Ten ) switch on the electricity and test your ceiling fan.

Having issues with our Hampton Bay ceiling Fan. We purchased it about 6 years ago. We constantly had issues with both the top and bottom light feature working. Now we can no longer get either (top or bottom) to work. I am not sure what the model of this fan is and I cannot find it on the Home Depot website. Would this be something that Home Depot will still exchange? I know 6 years ago we paid over $2oo for this fan.
